About a week before she turned 10 months old, Emmy finally started really crawling up on all fours. She had been army crawling for a while and learning how to go from her belly back up to sitting. We went to visit my parents in Rocky Mount and she worked on perfecting her real crawling skills there. She would get up on all fours and try to move one leg forward and then she'd just kind of give up and start army crawling.
It didn't take too much time or practice for her because once we got back to High Point she was a crawling machine. Granted, she wouldn't crawl too far or too much at a time, but she definitely could do it. (Especially when she saw something she wasn't supposed to have.)
In the past week she has gotten SUPER fast now and wants to crawl all over the house. I have done some "babyproofing", but not a ton. Guess I should get on that.
Besides crawling, she is also now pulling up on things and trying to figure out how to cruise.
My how things can change overnight!
